I found this website and page when I googled for FRBR and wiki. It is now five (?) years and a dotcom crash since the FRBR report was published and what is happening? Is anything happening? Are we on the road to the FRBR dream? Is there a road map or even a road that leads there? Perhaps the work of mapping the literary landscape (authors, works, editions, ...) that FRBR aims for should be separated from the bibliographic work normally associated with online catalogs such as LoC or OCLC. Perhaps a project similar to Wikipedia should implement the FRBR umbrella over normal bibliographic institutions? Comments? Ideas? Pointers to related thoughts?
