MicrosoftOffice2003 - Raymond Yee's Wiki

There is supposed to be a lot of great XML functionality in Office 2003. As far as I can tell, the promise is still just that. However, I'm looking forward to seeing for myself what Office 2003 can do in the area of XmlSpec and WebServices.

In the meantime, maybe OpenOfficeOrg can provide the functionality we want....

Some questions I have about Microsoft Office 2003:

Has Microsoft solved the great challenge of the UniversalCanvas -- that is, does this product let one have a seamless GUI towards underlying structured and semi-structured XML documents? (Probably not, but one can always hope.)
How much will it cost at UcBerkeley? What editions will be available?
What's the market penetration of various versions of Microsoft Office?
