I'm a software developer, educator, and consultant based in Albany, CA (just north of Berkeley). With 40+ years of programming experience and a background in data systems, I now focus on helping people work with AI thoughtfully—preserving human understanding, judgment, and accountability.

My work is guided by a simple idea: technology for community, care, and discovery.

How I Can Help

Teaching & Workshops I design and teach courses on using AI responsibly—for teenagers, educators, and professionals. The emphasis is on critical thinking, verification, and maintaining ownership of your work. Learning together is itself an act of community and discovery.

Consulting & Coaching I help individuals and organizations adopt AI-aware workflows with appropriate guardrails. This includes knowledge systems, automation design, and one-on-one coaching for people navigating AI adoption with care.

Technical Support I offer patient, practical help with digital technology—phones, computers, and the ever-expanding landscape of tools we rely on. Good technology support is an act of care.

I approach this work with intellectual seriousness and humility. I'm still learning, and I care deeply about doing it well.
